Hi, I’m Radhika

I have worked in Bollywood, lived in an Ashram, read my personal response to Brexit in the House of Commons and worked as a copywriter in two countries, one bleached by the sun and the other soaked by rain.

I have led creative teams, produced multi-platform work and directly managed client relationships for more than 15 years. During this time I have had the opportunity to work for Google, Volkswagen, Philips, Aircel, Coca-Cola, Nestle, HBO and other brands. The work has won at Cannes, One Show, Clio and Asia-Pacific Adfest.

My favourite piece of work blames the victims of a bomb blast for causing the blast, much like rape victims are blamed for rape. I love challenging years of toxic masculinity.

I also write podcasts, short stories and screenplays. I recently wrote a BBC podcast, won third place in the Euroscript Screenwriting Competition, was longlisted for BBC Drama Scriptroom and The London Short Story Prize. Dahlia Press, the Feminist Review and Poem International have published me. In one of my anthologies ‘May We Borrow Your Country’, I write about a woman who bathes in a miniskirt.
